Scottish Beauty Spots: Castle Stalker

You can see the full panoramic view of Castle Stalker by visiting my homepage. It’s a truly beautiful spot sitting right next to the main road through to the West Coast of Scotland. There’s a pub where you can get a quick bite to eat and then you can take in this beautiful view!

Travelling Through Time by Train

I was very lucky to travel on the Harry Potter Express through that famous line from Fort William to Mallaig earlier this year (you can have a second hand experience of this journey by looking at my video!). One of the things I loved about going on The Jacobite is the beautiful lines and images created within the old fashioned vintage design; I spent ages crouched down trying to capture a view through the windows. It reminded me of being a little girl when I (very dangerously) used to hang out of the windows to get lost within that powerful wind; it somehow used to let me forget all my troubles and just live in the moment.

Wing Mirror Travels: The Old Man of Storr

For those who aren’t familiar with the Scottish sights, the rock formation you can see in the distance is a famous landmark called The Old Man of Storr, situated on the Isle of Skye. We never got a chance to go and see it close up as I was tired and grumpy and just wanted to get back to our hotel in Fort William (one of those days!). But as a consolation prize I did manage to catch this pretty cool photo of it through the wing mirror as it retreated into the distance.
